What Are the Precautions for Using 48V Lithium Ion Battery?

A battery refers to the part of a cup, tank or other container or composite container that holds an electrolyte solution and metal electrodes to generate electrical current. With the advancement of technology, batteries generally refer to small devices that can generate electricity. such as solar cells. The performance parameters of the battery mainly include electromotive force, capacity, specific energy and resistance.

1. Understand the 48V lithium-ion battery

48V lithium-ion battery is a kind of battery that uses lithium metal or lithium alloy as negative electrode material and uses non-aqueous electrolyte solution. The 48V lithium-ion battery is composed of multiple lithium cells in series and parallel. 48V lithium-ion batteries are often used in AGVs, robots, electric low-speed vehicles, communication base station backup batteries, UPS backup power supplies, RVs, fishing boat energy storage batteries and other occasions.

2. Precautions for the use of 48V lithium-ion battery

The 48v lithium-ion battery for sale should be kept at 50% to 60% state of charge if it is not used for a long time. It should be recharged every 3 months, and it should be charged and discharged every six months. During transportation, pay attention to moisture-proof, moisture-proof, avoid extrusion, collision, etc., so as to avoid damage to the lithium-ion battery. It is forbidden to use or place 48v lithium-ion batteries under high temperatures (in the hot sun or in a very hot car), otherwise, it may cause the battery to overheat, catch fire or fail to function, and shorten its life. It is forbidden to store in a place with strong static electricity and a strong magnetic field, otherwise, it will easily damage the battery safety protection device and bring unsafe hidden dangers. If the 48v lithium-ion battery emits odor, heat, discoloration, deformation, or any abnormality during use, storage, or charging, immediately remove the battery from the device or charger and disable it.

48V lithium-ion battery charging precautions: strictly follow the standard time and procedure to charge. The 48-volt lithium iron phosphate battery is generally in a half-charged state when they leave the factory, and the battery must be fully charged for the first use. Use the original charger, the original charger has strong supporting performance and a moderate charging rate. Do not use it frequently until the under-voltage protection circuit works. The concept of recharging after the battery is completely discharged is incorrect. The greater the depth of discharge, the more times the battery is used without power, and the shorter the service life of the lithium battery.

3. What should I do if the 48V lithium-ion battery cannot be charged?

Check whether the output parameters of the 48V lithium-ion battery charger are normal, voltage, current, etc.; whether the charger circuit is normal, and whether the connector is broken; whether the 48V lithium-ion battery is broken, you can test whether the open circuit voltage of the battery is normal; consult lithium battery manufacturer.
